Have your say

On November 15, I was pleased to take part in the annual (19th) charity bike run organised by the tireless Richard Pike.

Nearly 170 motorcyclists took part. This is to raise contibutions for the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.

This distributes Christmas fare to the needy elderly in the borough.

The run terminates at Lynn Town Hall, as it has done for 19 years. We all learned, on the day, that we would have to find another venue in the future, due to the now commercial use of the Town Hall for weddings, etc.

I find it disgraceful that our Town Mayor cannot now use his traditional home to support his own charity.

My advice to the dauntless Richard is to switch to another- more supportive charity such as the blood bikers (SERV).
