On Sunday, December 28, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, I was discharged but unfortunately my husband tried unsuccessfully to get a taxi with the waiting time being one hour. As I sat down wondering what to do, the man sitting next to me asked if everything was OK?
On being told of our predicament, he straightaway offered to take us home. He was waiting with his wife and an elderly relative who was waiting to be seen.
He went and got his car and took us the short journey to town where we live, despite my husband offering him a goodwill gesture he said have this on me.
Thank you my good friend. Our thoughts and heartfelt thanks go with you.
