Have your say

Having read numerous press reports on bad care homes recently I would like to run the tables and praise the quality nursing received by my late brother-in-law Mr Arthur Tapp, in the Summerville Nursing Home at Heacham.

Most of the patients there are suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia. They are all made to feel part of a big gamily with nothing too much trouble. The manager Nigel Playford and his staff give outstanding care and compassion to all the

residents who are staying there whilst welcoming their families at the same time.

In the past there have been a lot of bricks thrown around on this subject and it would be nice to chuck a bouquet into our local backyard for a

nursing home that is well run to a very high standard. Well done Summerville!
