Have your say

Nationally this hospital has received severe criticism regarding the standard of care offered.

One week ago I had a severe urogical problem requiring emergency medical attention. Living as I do 20 miles from Norwich, with its University Hospital, I was taken aback when the ambulance crew told me they were taking me to Lynn hospital, aware as I was of the aforementioned publicity. I want to share with readers the excellent care and attention I received during my four day stay there. Firstly, I developed eurosepsis. The A&E department worked tirelessly from 10pm until 4.30am restoring my blood pressure. Little was I aware of the seriousness of my situation until days later.

My praise for these dedicated people and to the nursing staff on the SAU and Gayton wards is immeasurable. To the doctors, surgeon Mr Gault, I have nothing but the highest praise. It is disgraceful that such an establishment should have to read such critical publicity when offering people the standard of care that I received.
