In the first February issue, two correspondents, David Silver and Mark Burton, rightly asked about the Wisbech Rail Link and funding.
One Friday in January, a meeting took place in Downham with MPs Liz Truss, Sir Henry Bellingham and Stephen Barclay attending about Ely North Junction improvements.
Yet, as I have said before, Mr Barclay showed absolutely no interest in the Wisbech line until the last election was announced.
I know this to be true, as I was then chairman when the Wisbech – March Bramley Line Group held a roadshow on March station and Mr Barclay showed no interest in the project by completely ignoring us, the same as Liz Truss totally ignored me on another matter just two years ago.
In my last letter to your columns, I asked what had happened to the money raised from the sale of the five ex-Gatwick coaches that the Bramley Line sold off.
Yet for some very strange reason, nobody from the current Bramley Line Trust Group could even be bothered to answer.
Even their chairman failed to answer as to where and when their public meetings are held today.
Why plead ignorance where other people’s interests or donations are concerned?
