I have been reading many letters and editorial in the Lynn News over the past few weeks ref the local plan.
We have Councillor Bird telling us that we do not have the younger families here to be able to afford these new houses south of the town, or any where else for that matter, as there are not the jobs for them to finance a mortgage. Also Mr Maiden makes many valid points why Hopkins Homes’s proposal should be refused in that the infrastructure cannot withstand the amount of extra traffic it will create, a new roundabout is not the answer. In view of the above and local objections, surely the councils, town and borough, should reconsider their decision because maybe you’ve got it wrong. It takes courage to admit mistakes. Have you that courage?
