My husband and I have always received wonderful care in the NHS.
This government’s intransigence over the junior doctors’ contract is threatening the service and one can only worry that they are ideologically driven to bring in more privatisation. Jeremy Hunt’s stubbornness in pushing for the imposition of the contract and refusing to negotiate fairly can only put a nail in the coffin of the NHS. Why is this Government targeting this group of hard working committed doctors in the name of their seven day a week manifesto? We do not have enough doctors, nurses, etc as it is and this action risks forcing much needed doctors out. The public should realise that it is the Government who should be blamed for this catastrophe and it is their responsibility.
