West Norfolk Council seem to have got their priorities wrong. They have cut their annual grass cutting down by 50 per cent, in some areas more than this.
Yet I have had a mechanical road sweeper up and down my road four times since the start of the year when there is no need. I live in a cul-de-sac one hundred yards long with very little traffic. Also the same road is due to be resurfaced when there is no need for it. Driving around Sandringham a few days ago I noticed all the grass verges were cut. Then I saw a well dressed lady with two corgi dogs and a scythe mowing the grass. I reckon we’re all feeling the cutbacks.
