In a report in the Lynn News (March 17), it says that the village of Dersingham came ninth out of 20 in a Sunday times list of the top villages in the country.
The Sunday Times list says that Dersingham is on the western edge of the Sandringham Estate well placed to take advantage of unspoilt North West Norfolk with its sandy beaches. There are many good beaches, but not at Dersingham. The parish boundary ends before it gets to the sea and the land between is in the parish of Snettisham. I agree that Dersingham is a wonderful place as I lived there for 20 years and it should have been number one on the list, not number nine.
