Have your say

“Who knows?” – that is the only honest answer to the question of whether it will be better for the UK economy to stay in the EU or leave.

Whether it’s In or Out, recent history clearly demonstrates that the only certainty is uncertainty.

Look back over the past ten years or so: Who knew that our economy and that of the rest of the world would be hit by the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression? Who forecast the civil wars in Africa, Iraq and Syria ?

Who forecast fracking which has given the USA low energy costs, or the downturn in China ?

Who forecast the collapse of Greece, or the mass invasion of Europe by thousands of migrants from the rest of the world ?

The list of unexpected events is endless and nobody can tell you what , when, or where the next one will occur.

Of course, our way of life is affected by many other factors than just financial.

So, I think that the best course is to stop chasing the rainbow of economic certainty and vote with your heart not your head.
