If I could understand Mr Vinehill I’m sure I’d disagree with him more often. His letters are so obtuse I am stuck with counting his words looking for enlightenment. It seems, along with many of his fellow defeated “Remainers”, he wanted our future to be decided by children.
Only an old cynic like me would suggest that this is because the young are more easily conned and it seemed that in inviting them to vote to remain in an organization offering up to 35 per cent youth unemployment was a bit like the old cliché about turkeys and Christmas.
Meanwhile, perhaps he’d let us know if he feels the age for driving licences should be dropped to say – 12?
