If the percentages constantly stated by the mainstream media are to be believed, the “most people” extolled as being in favour of working people paying off the debts caused by the fraudulent cowboys of the financial and banking sectors include those actual innocent working people themselves.

This is not only astonishing, but probably true! Such a phenomenon, is enabled and caused by the clever innovation of the Establishment and their right-wing media mouthpieces of lambasting every person and political outlook that is not “the norm”, that being the anti-socialist, pro “free-market”, pro-Monarchy, patriotic, xenophobic, twisted version of real democracy that is uniquely shovelled in our direction on a daily basis.

The most recent example of this relentless “one acceptable way of thinking” strategy is the mock outrage displayed against Jeremy Corbyn for the “crime” of not singing the National Anthem. His not singing this craven worship of a woman who has no choice but to hear it made total sense, and I hope he refuses to bend his knee, and kiss a hand, when enlisting into The Privy Council. There is not a single reference to our country in the only verse ever sung, only a servile musical genuflection to a “leader” who arrived in position simply through birth, yet the media are screaming that his action was anti-British. Not even North Korea has an anthem that lowers its inhabitants to mere subjects, or waivers from “love of country” to “worship of leader”.
