Have your say

Re: Council urged to re-think West Norfolk infrastructure charge plan. Please may I assure borough councillors Charles Joyce and Sandra Squire that “God has NOT given up on Crimplesham.

It has NOT closed its church!” Perhaps their confusion has arisen because, whereas Lynn is in the Diocese of Norwich, Crimplesham is one of 44 West Norfolk parishes in the Diocese of Ely. As part of a network of local rural parishes, services at St Mary’s Crimplesham are held regularly on two Sundays each month and festivals, together with weddings, baptisms and funerals, and other special occasions.

We warmly invite the good councillors, and especially the residents of Crimplesham, to join us for worship one Sunday. Easter is coming up, that is a good time. Everybody is most welcome.

Fr James Mather ssc, Rector of Downham and Crimplesham with Stradsett
