Have your say

Having read the Lynn News (January 15) it is nice to see that things are starting to move with regards to new buildings. I really feel Lynn has lots to offer in many ways.

The old part of Lynn is superb, but other parts need attention. There are some wonderful buildings which we all pass at some point. When you enter Lynn from the South Gates passing down London Road and into Railway Road you will understand what I mean. The bricks of some of these building are amazing. The Glendevon Hotel is under review, but these two roads are one of the main thoroughfares to the centre and we have buildings that look shabby. With the borough council trying to boost tourism, surely the next project is to tidy this part up.

I know it all costs money, and Tuesday/Saturday market places to my mind look good, give or take the odd building. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but for tourists and people who live here, can we do something?
