At about midday on Monday August 1, I had the misfortune to lose my wallet and all its contents whilst at a Lynn supermarket.
Later I received a telephone call from a local bank to say it had been handed in. The kind person who found my wallet had looked inside it and saw a bank card which led her to go to the local branch and give them the wallet. They were able to locate me and the wallet was returned to me, contents, including cash, completely intact. The person who found the wallet did not identify herself to the bank.
I use your columns to express my sincere thanks to this unknown person who to my mind displayed an honesty and integrity of the highest order by her actions. Unfortunately an all-to-rare an occurrence these days.
