Once again I find “Amber Warning” a breath of fresh air. Amber’s latest contribution (Lynn News, December 30) displayed a degree of personal courage and compassion which is sadly at odds with Government policy.

Politicians occasionally pay lip service to the inadequacies of current mental health provision (Clegg’s belated conversion) and then remind us of the need for continued austerity.

At the same time creeping privatisation of NHS services continues. This does nothing for those particularly among the young who increasingly need these services.

Any chance of eventually ridding ourselves of this cynical, mean-spirited coalition next May? No, probably not.
