After watching the homeless programme on television recently I was deeply upset to see the amount of young homeless people sleeping on the streets.
Instead of the government sending millions abroad, they should put that money towards ensuring our own youngsters and elderly are cared for properly first. To my mind they just have not got their priorities right.
There are so many houses across the country that stand empty, so why not put them to use for those poor souls?
I am fed up with the government saying ‘we’re in this together’.
I don’t think so, I’m sure they wouldn’t like to live on the streets.
