May I take this opportunity, through your newspaper, to wish all the residents of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. As Christmas arrives it brings families together for a time of happiness and joyous times and for reflection by remembering those family members and friends who have passed on.
I believe it is also a time for giving and not just in monetary terms. Many of the old and vulnerable people within our community find it particularly hard over the festive season and can in fact bring on great
sadness. If you know of an elderly neighbour who lives alone or a young person who is at a troubled milestone in life’s journey, may I suggest that you do something special this Christmas by simply making
some time to spend with these people and show you care. This is part of the true meaning and spirit of Christmas and will bring a warm glow of goodness to all.
Merry Christmas to you all and thank you.
