With regard to Turnstone (Lynn News, March 21), the junction at the new roundabout for Heacham is too small for buses.
It has a ten metre opening and the first 60 metres is over five metres in width. If these drivers cannot manoeuvre their 12-metre coaches into that junction there’s got to be a problem with the drivers. “Coaches don’t twist” – they were built so they can manoeuvre any junction, that’s why they have their axles in the middle of the chassis. I would think at the moment these drivers and company are having their legs pulled. I just hope these drivers don’t have to do the school runs around the Marshland area and some of the villages around West Norfolk.
