The article, Lynn News, June 30, about drivers using free parking spaces, never mentioned the amount of people who got fines from being parked over the maximum 20 minutes that you can park on these free parking spaces. Is this just another money maker for the council?
A lot of people think the time should be between30-60 minutes for free parking.
The 20 minutes isn’t enough time to park, do your business in town and then return to your car.
So, how many fines were given for over running the maximum time of 20 minutes and how much money did the council make from these fines?
