I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to all the emergency services who attended my daughter’s car crash at Babingley on Friday night.
The off-duty policeman who recorded everything on his dash cam and phoned both my son-in-law and me, the ambulance crews who took care of my daughter while she was being cut out of her car and also my unhurt but very shocked ten- year-old granddaughter. Also thanks to the police car who guided me along the wrong side of the road to enable me to get to the scene safely, the lovely people in the Babingley Social club who looked after us, the police who recovered all the luggage from the wrecked car and transferred everything into mine. The fire crews who so carefully cut out my daughter. A huge thank you to you all for the care and consideration so professionally given with just enough humour to make this traumatic event bearable.
