Have your say

I live in a small village in West Norfolk and am compelled to write to voice my frustration about the inexcusable way tractor and haulage drivers disregard other road users and the road verges.

I complain every year to the police and for a day or so everything slows down. Our narrow lanes cannot withstand the abuse of these large vehicles, and car drivers are at risk having to avoid tractors that never slow down or drive appropriately to the conditions. Mobile phones are in regular use adding to the danger. I am not a NIMBY, and understand completely that large vehicles are a necessary evil, but dangerous, selfish and inappropriate speed are most definitely not. Due care and attention – I think not!
