Have your say

All the high profile Brexiters have furiously back-pedalled on their leave promises.

The two main political voices (Farage and Johnson) promoting leave have themselves left after stirring up emotions, misrepresenting the truth and steering the country towards...what? Well, towards the potential of higher unemployment, a weaker currency, possible recession, political turbulence, loss of access to a market of 500 million people, long-winded and complex redrafting of laws, trade agreements and environmental regulations. People don’t seem to realise that because we have left, we are in no position to pull up any drawbridge. The drawbridge is being pulled up behind us, leaving us outside looking in.
