The proposal of so many houses on the green space at Lynnsport, I feel, has not been thought through.
Green space is very important to health and wellbeing.
This green space is used by the local community and to loose this I feel would have a detrimental effect on people’s wellbeing.
The green space in question, the Lynnsport field, is home to many species of wildlife and birdlife, Grey Wagtail, Redwing and Fieldfare to name a few.
It provides a large area of space for our children to exercise and develop.
If this is taken away I feel this could have an impact on our children’s health and wellbeing.
Surely local authorities should work with local communities to help them develop strategic plans for green space within broader neighbourhood plans?
