How many more lies and spin are the people going to put up with from Mr Cameron and this government?
A few weeks before the General Election, Mr Cameron said on TV there were no plans to alter tax credits. Weeks after that, all change and we are being told about a living wage instead, £9 per hour in 2020. Pathetic. The minimum wage as it is would probably be that by 2020. People will be worse off with the tax credit changes and the £9 per hour living wage for people over 25. Mr Cameron said: “We are going to be tough on immigration.” There were 330,000 people in the year to March, an all time high. More lies. Mr Cameron said he believed Sure Start was a good thing. He has shut hundreds down. He is cutting everything to the bone, except the House of Lords. He has put dozens more Tory peers in there, getting £300 a day, for no other reason than they give fortunes to the Tory party. It needs to be shut down as it is an ancient relic. They go on about welfare payments and how much it costs, the vast amount goes on housing benefit, not to councils. But private landlords are making fortunes as there are very few council homes with affordable rents. The Tories’ right to buy caused that and the obsession with owning your own home. Affordable homes to rent are the answer and that is what people are crying out for. But the Tories must keep their cronies, the private landlords, happy. Finally, some good news – the United Nations Human Rights are concerned about the massive cuts affecting the disabled, vulnerable and poorest people, including bedroom tax. I hope the UN get Ian Duncan Smith in the dock. He seems to get great satisfaction from hunting down the disabled, sick, vulnerable and poorest people. How does he sleep at night?
