Have your say

What an excellent letter from Paul Firmage on January 19. I agree with him.

I am nearly 70 years of age and I believe this is the worst government I can remember. They would love to take us back to Victorian times when the rich had everything while the poor ended up in the workhouse or died on the streets.

The Tories have sold everything, the only jewel in the crown left is the NHS and that is being sliced up ready for privatisation. Many Tory MPs have interests in private medical companies in the same way many Tories have interests in property. Jan Lloyd (Letters, January 19) says the NHS will never be privatised. I hope she is right. She bases this on the fact that the Tories were in for 18 years and never mentioned privatisation. That was then. This Tory government is very different, completely void of humility.
