YouTuber Beard Meats Food spotted at Dersingham Spar taking on ‘Sparticus’ eating challenge for next viral video

A YouTube sensation with millions of subscribers was spotted at a village shop filming his next viral video.

Fill your guts or spill your guts, or in Beard Meats Food’s case, ask for more, which is exactly what he did when visiting Dersingham’s Spar shop to tackle its ‘Sparticus’ challenge on Friday, August 9.

As the UK’s biggest professional competitive eating channel, the former number one ESPN-ranked eater in Europe with four million subscribers made light work of the task.

Participants have 20 minutes to consume a two-foot French stick stuffed with eggs, bacon, footlong sausages, mushrooms and cheese.

The special guest, whose real name is Adam Moran, smashed it out of the park finishing the job in 17 minutes and 40 seconds and requesting seconds.

Store manager Liam Cross said he was then given “a portion of our famous battered chicken bites and a potato dog (which he poured honey onto).

Those who manage to finish off this £19.95 super-sized sandwich in time win their money back and get their picture on the winner’s hall of fame.

Mr Cross said: “He was a lovely chap and made everyone’s day, customers loved the buzz and excitement this created and we would now love anyone to come and see if they can beat his time.”
