West Lynn footballers enjoy a successful season

It has been a season to remember for youngsters from West Lynn Football Club.

The club's under-12 side won the Mid Norfolk Youth League by beating Marshland Saints on Wednesday night, then made it a double by winning the cup against the same side a few days later on Sunday.

This is a fantastic achievement considering the age group is playing its first year of competitive football.

The team wouldn't have been able to do it without the kind support and sponsorship of Dan Fab UK Ltd, WN Surfacing Ltd and the AMR Group.

Just for good measure, the club's under-11 side finished off a great day by winning the Subsidiary Cup against Clenchwarton Oranges.

It’s only the second season for West Lynn Football Club, who are immensely proud of all of their youngsters.

The club currently has four teams and will be starting a new under-7s team in September.
