King's Lynn and KES karter moves into championship lead

By KentOnline reporter

South Wootton karting teenager Aaron Alexander took a 200cc championship lead at the Stretton circuit in Leicestershire at the weekend after round three.

The KES Academy, Lynn, pupil was running in second place and did have a heavy crash in practice, hitting the tyre wall at high speed.

He walked away a little winded and the kart needed a bit of work on it.

Also qualifying was very close, with his time of 37.701 just a few hundredths of a second ahead of rivals Samuel Chapman and Kieran Lambert.

Race day saw Aaron take pole and win all the heats. He won the final after bagging another pole position.
