South Lynn pigeon racer Tom Williams wins King's Lynn North RFC on north road and New King's Lynn RPC on south road




South Lynn's Tom Williams had a very good weekend, winning this club on the north road and the New King's Lynn RPC on the south road. Tom's winner in this club took 1hr 54 mins to fly 110 miles.

Result: 1, 5, 6 Tom Williams, 1703, 1521, 1334; 2, 3, 4 Paul Naughton & Bluey Boughen, 1700, and two birds on 1699.

The New Lynn RPC had six lofts send 70 birds to Abingdon (2). Tom Williams won the first two positions plus 4th. His winner took 2hrs 46 mins to fly the 106 miles. Tom also won 1st pools and the STS Lofts won the 2nd pools.

Result: 1, 2, 4 Tom Williams, 1126, 1125.9, 1125.6; 3 Eddy Perry & Malc Bunton, 1125.7; 5 Kim Peacock & Bernie Byrne, 1219; 6 S.T.S. Lofts, 1216.

Wereham also raced from Abingdon (2). Richard Dunmore, who won the club's first four the week before, went two better this week, taking the top six in the club. Richard's winning Verschoot x Staf Van Reets took 2hrs 32 mins to fly 102 miles.

Result: 1-6 Richard Dunmore, 1175, 1152, 1121, 1099, 1098, 1096.

Clenchwarton Victory raced from Wetherby. It was two wins running for Dale and Neil Dennis, and their winner this week took 2hrs 6 mins to fly the 109 miles.

Result: 1, 5, 6 Dale and Neil Dennis, 1545, 1433, 1429; 2, 3, 4 Mr & Mrs Ian Dye, 1539 (two birds), 1471.
