Teenager Josh Bailey has completed the King’s Lynn Stars’ speedway SGB Premiership team line-up for this season.
The Trucks R Us Stars announced this evening (Tuesday, Feb 17) that the 19-year-old will ride at reserve.
The youngster is familiar with Adrian Flux Arena fans as he has ridden with success in the National League for the Young Stars, and told the Lynn News: “I think it’s a brilliant opportunity.”
He was begun working hard at the gym over the winter following a broken collarbone sustained in the second half of last season.
He said: “I haven’t felt any problems with it. I’m ready to race. It was always the idea in March to be fit and to be ready.”
Bailey is facing around 80 to 90 fixtures this campaign as he is also rejoined SGB Championship side Scunthorpe in the second tier of the sport.
But he likes to be busy, adding: “I’ll do happily seven nights a week if I could!”
