Northwold plays host to an evening with British Speedway stalwarts
A pair of stalwarts from the British speedway scene put on a great evening of sporting entertainment at Northwold.
Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris and Kelvin Tatum took centre stage separately before joining together to have a packed crowd hanging off their every word at Northwold Sports and Social Club.
Memories of British and world titles, opinions and laughs aplenty and some surprise video messages from old friends topped off another cracking show at the club, which raised almost £450 for the Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund at the event.
It was Northwold Sports and Social Club's ninth sporting chat night and it attracted another sell-out crowd.
The £450 was raised by a raffle and a live auction of memorabilia brought by each of the guests.
The club is run by a committee of volunteers.
