West Norfolk karting ace Alexander tastes success in Cumbria
Karting ace Aaron Alexander and the team travelled up to the Rowrah circuit in Cumbria last weekend for Round 2 of the IKR Championships.
The King Edward VII Academy pupil managed to qualify in pole position then followed on to win heat one.
Heat two saw a good battle with the #65 car but Aaron made contact under braking coming into the final lap and spun out putting him in second place over the finishing line.
In the final #65 managed to get Alexander off the start line but it wasn’t long until Aaron managed to pass him. Alexander then took the win, keeping his lead in the championship points.
Aaron thanks RPM Race Engines for sorting the engines on Friday; also Malcolm Fell and the Rowrah staff; and sponsors TheModernizer.com and Best@Bars.com
