Alex Brady is backing Danish racer Peter Kildemand to be a big hit with King’s Lynn fans.

Kildemand, a former Grand Prix rider, is returning to British Speedway for the first time since 2018 when he had a brief spell with Poole.

Boss Brady has confirmed the club fought off Premiership rivals to sign him as part of the revamped Stars side.

He said: “Peter is all action, totally stylish, an out and out racer.

“We beat several of our Premiership rivals to the signing of Peter and I'm over the moon.

“In his short spell for Poole in 2018, he averaged 8.75 and in the Polish First Division in 2021 he averaged 8.20 which is an impressive return, so I think on his average of 7.10 for us, he represents someone who can improve and kick on to a higher level.

“For me that’s a key ingredient in successful teams. He rides King’s Lynn well and I'm sure we'll see the best of Peter in 2022.”
