St Ives too strong for Pelicans in O35s Cup

Pelicans travelled to St Ives for the first round of the O35 Cup competition on Sunday.

It was a great opportunity for all teams in the club to be represented alongside some ex-players who dusted off their sticks to play again.

St Ives took the offensive from the pushback and were relentless in their attacking play to record an 8-1 win.

Player-of-the-match Kirstie Smith in goal pulled off numerous great saves.

St Ives were well deserving of their victory and Pelicans, who replied through a jane Proctor goal, now look forward to competing in the Plate competition.
