Defender Aaron Jones has become the latest player to commit his future to King's Lynn Town.

Despite interest from a number of clubs for his signature, the 28-year-old will remain at The Walks.

Linnets boss Tommy Widdrington said: “Late last night, I agreed terms which will see Aaron Jones remain at The Walks.

“He showed an appetite and desire in the period I worked with him I feel is required in any football team.

"Despite competition for his signature, AJ has shown loyalty, as well as an attitude to want to return to the National League with Kings Lynn Town, rather than moving for short term financial gains.

"I’m sure everyone will be as pleased as I and the staff are that Aaron is on board."

Signed in August 2018, Jones has made a total of 118 appearances for the Linnets, scoring three goals.
