Regular member reels in big carp at Wallington Hall

The carp are still feeding at Downham and District Angling Association’s waters at Wallington Hall.

Pictured is member Tony Wright, with his 18lb 8oz carp, and in his own words “a lovely bar of gold”.

Elsewhere, the Cuckoo Drain has been fishing well for pike. The venue has witnessed fish between 15lbs and 18lbs being taken on dead bait tactics.

Probably because of the recent cold snap across West Norfolk, the Clay Pit, at Denver, has slowed down with small nets of silvers and the odd carp.
