Fakenham Town extend unbeaten run to four matches with Thurlow Nunn Premier Division draw
Fakenham Town and Downham Town both collected a point in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division this afternoon while there were defeats for Heacham and Swaffham Town in their respective fixtures.
The Ghosts are now four games unbeaten in the top flight following a 1-1 draw at Walsham le Willows.
Downham Town also had to be content with a point at home against Hadleigh United at the Memorial Field.
The visitors dominated long periods of the 90 minutes as Downham twice came from behind to draw level through Fletcher Toll and Patrick Yates.
Downham remain sixth in the league table but now find themselves six points adrift of the final play-off spot.
They turn their attentions to a Norfolk Senior Cup quarter-final at Wroxham on Thursday night.
Heacham's poor recent form continued with a 2-1 reverse at Long Melford where Charlie Royle was on target for the Magpies.
It is now seven defeats in the league for Heacham, who are without a win since January 20.
They will hope to end their losing streak when they entertain Harleston Town on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
In the First Division North, Swaffham Town suffered a third straight loss as they went down 2-0 at FC Peterborough.
