King's Lynn to host four different formulas at stock car and banger meeting
Stock car and banger racing returns to the Adrian Flux Arena tomorrow (5pm) when four formulas will be in action.
Drivers will be racing in two classes of national bangers which are a throwback to years ago with the larger class allowing the likes of Bluebirds, Cavaliers etc and the smaller class seeing drivers in cars such as Almeras and Sunnys.
The all action 1300 stock cars are set for a fantastic turnout of cars and the unlimited lady bangers make their first appearance of the season.
Predators' Kieran Bowman will be the busiest man on the night as he races both classes of national bangers.
The reigning Entertainer League champion is currently chasing the Gladiators' Taylor Pratchett in this year's competition and with Pratchett enjoying a healthy looking advantage, Bowman will need to start racking up the points if he is to chase him down.
Joining Bowman in the larger banger class will be Lynn brothers Wes and Ryley Freestone who will no doubt be in the thick of the action.
Paul Lovick always puts on a great display in these type of meetings and it is fantastic to see Jake Burgess back in action in a national banger for the first time in several years.
Brad Bowman joins brother Kieran in the smaller class of bangers – a class which will also see Daniel Bitson, Chris Wick and Rhys Mills take to the track.
Jake Banwell will be looking for another good points haul in the 1300 stock cars.
Banwell's best scoring outings have come at Lynn so far in 2022 and he will be hoping for more of the same.
Charlotte Coote had a different surname when she last raced at Lynn as she recently married national banger star Sam Coote at the beginning of the month – congratulations from all at Trackstar and the Lynn News.
She will be joined on track by Amy Brown who is one of the quickest there is in rear-wheel drive machinery.
