The weather had its first victims of the season when a deluge of overnight rain put paid to four games.


Burt returned to winning ways after the slenderest of 1-0 wins over CSKA Emneth, thanks to Shaun Giles’ solitary strike. The win was all the more impressive since CSKA have already beaten Burt twice this season, knocking them out of both cup competitions.

Englands Hope: the train that no-one seems able to stop. Clenchwarton were the latest victims, succumbing 8-1, with George Hutton scoring for Victory.

Long Sutton have folded.

Horsepigs v Chilvers was postponed.


Tilney Green Lions seem unstoppable at the moment, a 5-1 win over March Saracens lifting them up to second in the table. Jason Chilton is in the form of his life with another hat-trick. Other goals came from J Leet and Kai Scott-Henson. Ash Parsons notched Saracens’ consolation effort.

Farmers Arms recorded an impressive 3-1 away win over Wisbech Social, scoring through Brad Key 2 and Chad Barrett. Richard Hunt scored for Wisbech.

Only one game survived and Heacham Reserves opened the Fleet floodgates, with a 0-10 win. George Patience and Tim Pepper both scored twice. James Norris, Tristan Guy, Federico Pezella, Josh Everitt, Barry Chilvers and Kyle Benefer completed the scoring.
