Acle Utd 0

Dersingham Rovers 3

Rovers produced one of their best-ever results since being in the Almary Green Anglian Combination as they won at the reigning champions.

Dersy’s keeper Hails made two excellent saves to keep the sides level at half-time.

Dersingham came out of the traps in the second half and a Clunan 20-yard free-kick found the net. The introduction of Sam Peck saw another change in gear and it wasn’t long before Peck put Rovers 2-0 up. Rovers caught Acle on the break and Peck got his second to cap a great team performance.

Dersingham tomorrow host Stalham Town in the Norfolk Senior Cup, 1.30pm.

The Woottons 2 Reffley 1

The Woottons went 0-1 down very quickly against a well organised Reffley team.

Both sides battled hard on Sunday but Rio Culey equalised with a cracking free-kick before half-time.

In the second half despite a resilient Reffley team, MoM Jak Uppington’s work rate paid off as he scored to seal Woottons’ first win of the season.
