Bob Wardy has been unveiled as the new manager of Thurlow Nunn First Division side Downham Town.

Wardy succeeds former boss Mark Reeve who resigned from the club for personal reasons earlier this month. He will be joined at Memorial Field by Lewis Thompson, who has been appointed first team assistant manager.

The pair took charge of their first match on Saturday afternoon and got off to a dream start as the club maintained their unbeaten home record as they recorded an impressive 4-0 victory over Leiston Reserves.
