The two fixtures in Division One produced 19 goals!

CSKA travelled across to the Royal Estate to face Flitcham and walked away 8-0 victors. There were hat-tricks for Jordan Goult and Dean Miller with single strikes for Max Matless and Arron McKenna. There was an unusual turn-out in support of Flitcham – cows!

Old White Bell hosted and won 8-2 over Chilvers, who were fresh from a superb Cherrington Cup win, which it seems took it out of them.

Danny Jezeph and Kris Smith notched for the cup winners, but Wayne Smith claimed 5, Kyran Stannard and John Murphy 2.

Only three games produced 17 goals.

CSKA Young Boys romped to a derby day win over Three Holes 8-1. Joe Reed bagged a brace with single goals for Ashley Moore, Harry Brundle, Callum Elsey, Jake Gent, Aiden Rouse and Jesse Bate. Dan Hempson scored Holes’ consolation.

Elm ground out a close 2-1 win over March with Ash Taylor scoring for March and Kensey Carter and Leon Murphy for Elm.

Tydd St Mary prevented a CSKA hat-trick of wins as they beat CSKA Reserves 3-2 at home.

Joe Evling-White, Wayne Congreave and Dan Monaghan scored for Tydd with Dave Abbott and Alex Street for CSKA.

Heacham claimed the Division Two title and the double by winning 3-0 at basement boys William Burt on Tuesday. This was a marked improvement by Burt who had lost the previous fixture 17-0!

Scott Deadman (penalty), Sam Pishorn (penalty) and Chris Smith scored the title-winning goals.

Burt’s goalkeeper was outstanding, making save after save.
