The Ghosts are on the road to Wembley after hitting Huntingdon Town for six with an FA Cup hat-trick from Ashley Jarvis on Wednesday.

Single strikes from Matty Dye, Robbie Harris and Kyle Plumb saw The Ghosts through at UCL side Huntingdon in their FA Cup extra preliminary replay.

It means Fakenham now travel to face Wroxham on Saturday, August 29 in the next round.

The Ghosts quickly have their next Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division game at home to Kirkley & Pakefield at Clipbush Park this evening. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Fakenham Town Reserves lost 2-0 at Redgate Rangers at Old Hunstanton to go into 12th place in Almary Green Anglian Combination Division Three.

Downham Town also have a Friday night match. In the Thurlow Nunn Division One they travel to Ely City.

Tomorrow in the same division, Lynn Reserves entertain Stowmarket Town.

King’s Lynn Town FC’s U18 youth team won their first home game of the season 8-2 over Downham with Dylan Edge scoring six in front of a bumper crowd of 183 fans.

Tomorrow in the Thurlow Nunn Premier, Swaffham Town travel to Whitton United.

The Pedlars Reserves had a heavy Anglian Combination Division 3 opening season defeat at Redgate Rangers. They lost 3-0 at home to Watton United on Wednesday and then are away to Loddon United Reserves tomorrow.

The ‘A’ team start their new campaign tomorrow with a trip to Scarning United.
