King’s Lynn Town FC crashed 3-2 at home to Merthyr Town last night (Tuesday) despite mounting a comeback.

The Linnets were in confident mood following their Evo-Stik Southern League win at St Neots on Saturday.

However midfielder Lee Smith limped off after just five minutes and in the first half the hosts were 3-0 down.

Lynn replied with goals from Michael Clunan and Lee Stevenson (pictured), but it was too late.

Lynn next Saturday (January 9) have another home game, with Chesham, in their up-and-down season.
