King’s Lynn Town FC will host Harrogate Town in the FA Trophy Third Round Qualifying on Saturday, November 29 following their home win at the weekend over fellow Evostik Premier team Stourbridge.
Harrogate are mid-table in Conference North and the winners will scoop £4,000.
Meanwhile, wideman Steve Spriggs could feature for the Linnets at Buxton tonight even though his loan deal from Sudbury is due to expire.
Both Spriggs (pictured) and midfielder Dan Quigley have completed their suspensions as Lynn go in search of their first-ever win at Silverlands.
Boss Gary Setchell said: “We are trying to get Spriggsy to stay but obviously he is contracted at Sudbury.
“There is a little bit of an issue with Sudbury about some money he had when he signed and they perhaps want it back.
“Spriggsy has been brilliant and I think we’ve missed him these last few games.
“We’ve missed his directness and his pace and I think before he got suspended we had started to see the best of him as he had worked hard to get back into the team.”
Second-placed Buxton will provide a stern test for the Linnets, who will be making their first away trip in the EvoStik Premier League since October 7.
Setchell said: “They are the best team we’ve played this season.
“I think they will finish in the top-five for sure.
“They have got good lads up front and it’s not going to be one for the faint-hearted.
“Buxton won’t let us play like we did on Saturday so we are going to have to find a way to beat them.”
Lynn lost 2-1 to The Bucks at The Walks in September – a match which saw Buxton go to the top of the table – and in the reverse fixture last season Lynn lost 6-1 and ended the game with nine men.
On Saturday, The Bucks crashed out of the FA Trophy at FC United of Manchester, with their team weakened by suspensions and loan agreements.
Lynn haven’t won on the road since the opening day of the campaign at Ramsbottom – a stat they will be looking to put right tonight.
