Swaffham Town are out of the Thurlow Nunn League Cup after falling to a 1-0 defeat at home to Diss Town on Tuesday night.

Chris Holmes’ goal was enough to separate the two sides in front of 41 people at Shoemakers Lane and Paul Hunt’s side will be looking to bounce back when they visit Haverhill Borough tomorrow.

The Pedlars go into tomorrow’s game sitting top of the Thurlow Nunn Division One table separated from Saffron Walden and Long Melford by goal difference.

As for Downham, Mark Reeve takes his side to AFC Sudbury Reserves tomorrow and they will be looking to build upon last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Holt United in the Norfolk Senior Cup.

The draw for the next round of the Norfolk Senior Cup takes place this evening on BBC Radio Norfolk.
