King’s Lynn Town could not break down the meanest defence in the EvoStik League on Saturday at The Walks.
Defender Jackson Ramm became the seventh Linnets player to get sent-off this campaign, although it does mean the hosts have picked up four points in their last two games.
Ramm got his marching orders for picking up two yellow cards but this did not prevent Lynn recording back-to-back clean sheets for the first time this season.
Lynn were unable to convert any of their opportunities in front of goal in a game of missed chances.
Gregg Smith’s header hit a post while Ross Watson’s late 40-yard howitzer rattled the crossbar but Lynn failed to profit from another improved showing at the back as they failed to build on their New Year’s Day victory over Stamford.
King’s Lynn Town boss Gary Setchell said: “If we had nicked a goal we would have probably deserved it.
“We’ve hit the underside of the bar with ten men and probably created the better chances.
“We’ve played two games in three days and both games have been very similar. We’ve scored one goal but have created the better chances in both games.
“We can’t keep relying on George (Thomson). If George doesn’t score then we need somebody else to step up and today nobody did.”
