Reed pens another year with Swaffham Town FC

Luke Reed has opted to sign another season with Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side Swaffham Town FC.

The Pedlars said: “Luke has been a product of our youth development and has shown fantastic progression, which ensures that he really is capable of playing at the senior level.”

Reed said: “I’m really happy to have signed a new contract and spend another year with the Pedlars. It’s a great club and I love playing my football here. We have a great group of players and I really think we will do well in the upcoming season”.

Swaffham also confirmed the retention of prolific forward Alex Vincent. Paul Hunt, who recently returned as manager after the departure of Rob Taylor, has also been able to retain the services of Kyle Turvey, Tommy Hunt, Robson Pack, Jack Prentice, Mikey Thompson, Sam Carter, Alex Vincent, Dann Farr, Jamie Titmarsh and Jack Redhead.

Swaffham will be playing Air Force Base champions RAF Marham at Shoemakers Lane on Tuesday night (19) instead of Downham Town.
