Lee Hyde was twice on target as Rovers continued their unbeaten away record with an excellent victory against a physical Wymondham team.

Goalkeeper Matty Hails kept Rovers in the game early on with two fine saves before Danny Jezeph netted his fifth goal in three games after some good link up play involving Blake and Hyde.

Man-of-the-match Hyde then headed home a Trevor Daniels cross before adding to his tally when converting an Adam Seal centre.

Both players were reduced to ten men in the second period with Zac Fountain seeing red for Rovers, who are third in the table with games in hand on the top two.

On Saturday, Rovers host Sheringham at The Pastures (2.30pm).

King’s Lynn Town Reserves controlled long periods of the midfield play but lacked a cutting edge to finish off the good approach play early on.

The game was never short of incident in a feisty game which kept the referee on his toes.

After 40 minutes Nelson Moriera stole in between defender and goalkeeper to toe end a neat goal.

The second period saw the young Linnets control affairs with goals arriving at regular intervals.

Luis Duarte (2), Andy Wilmott, Kyran Stannard and Moriera finished off a workmanlike display by adding to the score.

Double G MoM: James Spittlehouse.
